A day to remember at Bredon School, we had rain, divots and animals showing their vocal support in the nearby fields The first race up was the under 12’s girls and boys. With apprehension in the air, the Rendcomb team continued to shout encouragement throughout the day. Half way through the 1st race, Harriet Church stormed her way through the pack to 2nd place trying to catch the leader. Not far behind Harriet, was Georgia, Coco and the boys trying to close in. The under 14 girls were next up, some of year 8 girls added to the team. We triumphed with Arwin stokes winning the race and young Evangeline Ellis coming 3rd. A strong cohort of runners with Julia, Madeleine and Izzy placing in the top 15 out of 30 girls. The under 14 boys came up against a strong Sibford school, the 3 years 8’s joining the team. Fred Daniels stormed the first lap keeping his place in 4th and tried to catch the lead. With Noah, Felix, Fraser, Max and Cooper behind we ran our hearts out. Overall, a very successful day for Rendcomb.
